SUB.:- DEPUTATION FOR EXECUTIVE ATTACHMENT FOR AFGHANISTAN SCOUT

            ASSOCIATION.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

We are glad to inform you that Asia Pacific Region is working for an attachment programme for Afghanistan Scout Association(ASA) and requires an experienced Scout Executive attache for developing Scouting in Afghanistan. For this purpose, we would like you to nominate a candidate for selection by the Asia Pacific Region. The preliminary information about Job description  & offer of Executive is given below:-

The offer to the successful candidate will include:

-          a return air ticket from country of origin to Kabul;

-          Asia Pacific Region and Afghanistan Scout Association shall arrange the necessary travel document for the Scout Executive Attache designated;

-          Moderate accommodation;

-          Pocket money for food and other miscellaneous during the attachment period.

 

Job Description:

The Scout Executive Attache is expected to:

-          Analyse the present Youth Programme and adult training activities; review and develop them further to suit to the local situation.

-          Assist in implementing the National Scout Constitution towards building organizational infrastructure and affiliation as WOSM member.

-          Help Afghanistan Scout Association to develop projects for external funding.

-          Develop Adult in Scouting Policy, and to help in developing a adult training scheme in line with the World Adult Resources Policy.

-          Help Afghanistan Scout Association to strengthen the relationship with other UN agencies, NGOs, governmental bodies within Afghanistan.

 

The Executive Attache is to be stationed at National Scout Headquarters in Kabul for an initial period of six months likely to be extended for another 3-6 months. He will also responsible to the WOSM/APR, but supported by the Afghanistan Scouts Association for his  performance areas as stated in his job description.
