SUB: The Sub- National Camp 2008, Girl Scouts of Taiwan.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

            We are pleased to extend warm invitation to all State Associations to participate in “The Sub- National Camp for celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Girl Scouts Association in Taiwan”

The details of the Camp are as follows:

                       

Name of the Event

The North Sub- National Camp.
Dates

30th May to 1st June 2008.
Venue

The North Sub- National Camp. Dragon Campsite in Taipei Country.
Theme

Soaring to New Height.
Objectives
  1. To celebrate 50th anniversary of Girl Scouts of Taiwan.
  2. To promote girl scouting in families, schools and communities.
  3. To share scouting experiences and skills.
  4. To develop friendship, service spirit through activities and team work.
Participants

No limit on the number of participant.

Leaders and Girl Guides (age 12 years over)

Each patrol is suggested 8 Girl Guides with 1-2 leaders.
Event Fee

US $ 100 per person (including food, accommodation, program activities, camp souvenier).

The nearest airport is:

- Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Programme & activities

Hiking, Bike cycling, Exploring Nature, Global Village, Friendship Night, Badges work, Campfire etc.
Individual Equipment

Sleeping bag, personal towel for bath, clothing, personal cutlery, uniform, etc.

(Tents & Cooking utensils will be provided).
Fees

Caution Money :  Rs. 3000.00

(If selected and not participated, Caution Money will be forfeited)
Travelling Expenses

All the Travelling Expenses will be born by the participants.
Last Date

30th March 2008.

 

You are requested to send the nominations of interested Guides and Adult Leaders in the prescribed Performa (copy enclosed) to the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi on or before 30th March 2008.
