The
Bharat Scout & Guide National Headquarters organised National Integration
Camp at State Training Centre, Hazaribagh Jharkhand from 25th to 29th
March 2008. There were 222 participants from 9 States of India. The camp was
inaugurated by the Vice-President of BS&G Jharkhand State & the
President of Hazaribagh District Sardar Pritam Singh on 25th at 3
P.M. The sing song programme was inaugurated by the State Secretary Mr.
Shrimohan Singh of Jharkhand at 7 P.M. on the same day.
From the
2nd Day of the Camp the activities & programme continued as per
schedule. Competitions were held on Physical Jerk, Skill-O-Rama, Food Plaza,
State Exposition, Folk dance, Folk song, Quiz, Marriage ceremonies, State
festivals etc. The participants had taken active part in the programmes with
full interest & enthusiasm.
The
Civil surgeon of Hazaribagh District Mr. Rajendra Prasad Sinha flagged off the
Integration Route March on 28th March morning at 8 A.M. The
Valedictory function was graced by the Hon’ble State Chief Commissioner Mr.
Baidehi Sarn Mishra IAS (Retd.).
On 29th
March All Faith Prayer was solemuly conducted followed by open session,
lowering of the flag & National Anthem.
In the
eleventh hour the venue of the camp was shifted from Ranchi to STC Hazaribagh
but due to the well guidance of service Rovers & Rangers, all the
participants reached the new venue easily. This type of “Be Prepared” in
practice was appreciated by everyone.
The
