NATIONAL CUB/BULBUL UTSAV 2008

National Cub/Bulbul Utsav 2008 was held at National Youth Complex Gadpuri Haryana from 26th to 30th March 2008. There were 260 participants from 12 States and Six invited staff members from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh from both the wings.

The camp was very successful and the small boys/girls had made all effort to decorate their Bulbul Tree/Totem Pole. Hon’ble Shri L.M. Jain, National Commissioner and Smt. Pusphlata Jain were present on 29th March at the campsite. They were received by the participants in their typical Bulbul/Cub style Soon after this a short Cultural Programme was held in the occasion of Grand Campfire. Shri Jain highly appreciated the talents of the small children & blessed them with golden words.

At the end, the long-awaited “Golden Arrow” Awards were distributed to the participants who had come from different states of India. The children expressed their joy & happiness by dancing on stage with the famous number “Chek-De”----while the Hon’ble Chief Guest Shri L.M. Jain was forced by the children to join them on the stage .It was an unique occasion.
